1. When you have your home built by Habitech you can be confident knowing
you are dealing with a licensed contractor with a Construction Supervisor
license and a Home Improvement Contractor license.
2. Habitech can make your dreams and plans a reality with an in house design
service and, if needed, a structural engineer.
3. The approximate time for completion of a standard plan is within 1-2 days. A
custom plan may take 1 - 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the plan.
4. All homes built by Habitech are inspected at the factory throughout the process
and are reviewed by third party engineering inspections. The paperwork must
be present with the house so the local building inspectors can be assured that it
meets current building and BOCA codes. Traditional site built projects cannot
offer this assurance. Many cities and towns have limited inspections which
means site built homes do not undergo the same rigorous inspections our
houses do.
5. Habitech offers 2x6 wall construction, only top quality materials are used and
since our homes are built in a factory the materials are not exposed to the
elements. Most homes built by Habitech are weather tight within a day of
delivery. More complicated homes may take 2 days. Site built homes can take
weeks before they are weather tight leaving them exposed to the possibility of
weather damage.
6. Today's consumers are more conscious of energy concerns. Our homes meet or
exceed the states requirements. We will build your home to meet your needs
with options and upgrades as desired.
